Leona Bestolie’s life started when she chose her required time in public service as an ambassador’s courier on another planet. When her service came to an end, instead of returning home, she chose to expand her horizons, most notably on other planets. Her new job as an Observer, provided her training in new professions, expanding on her talents. She became comfortable in her twenty-years as a professional dancer on board a space cruise liner, visiting exotic places and the opportunity to making unusual friends, as well as sending reports to HQ about her observations. In her twentieth year in space she was assigned a new handler in both her Observer role and as a professional dancer. What she wasn’t expecting was that multiple attempts on her life were made after the changes, and her new entertainment agent’s assignment to babysit a diva. Never upstage a diva, was her constant self-reminder. She should also have listened to her friend and guarded her heart.
After twenty years of being employed as an entertainer, Lonnie was officially retired from her dancing contract with agent and cruise liner. She looked forward to visiting space ports Earl Gray didn’t fly near but first, she had a pressing engagement on Amant. Caline, the woman who recruited her to work as a civilian for HQ as an Observer, under the guise of an entertainer on a space cruise ship, sent a request for her to stop and see her. From there, she planned on hitting various space ports on her way to seeing another friend, and then, hopefully, the construction on her new home located on a frontier planet, would be completed. Maybe by then the travel bug wouldn’t be so strong.
